Early Start Group

The Early Start Group is for families with medically vulnerable babies aged under one year old. Parents/carers are able to enjoy their babies and feel confident in handling their babies and playing with them, even if they are oxygen dependant, have feeding tubes etc. 

Parents/carers of babies recently discharged from SCBU often feel isolated and unsupported at home and unable to access mainstream parent and baby groups. The Early Start Group provides a safe and supportive environment for parents/carers to experience a baby group. 

The Early Start Group is a drop-in group every Wednesday between 10.00am and 11.30am. For more information please contact Marilyn Smith on 01594 837552.
