Playscheme
"...provides a welcome period of respite for families and children have great fun"

Ofsted 2011

Playscheme offers a home away from home, nurturing the children’s abilities through free play and more structured activities and events.  During Playscheme, children are encouraged to explore their local environment in different ways than during term time.

We aim to offer activities designed to encourage

children’s’ creativity with the right balance and structure to help the children develop their confidence, make judgements and take risks safely, and overall helping the children to develop their full potential.

Our OFSTED registered Playscheme is open to children aged 3-7 years running during school holidays and half terms.  All our staff are experienced and either have qualifications or are working towards qualifications.  All have Enhanced CRB disclosures and are given training at the start of each Playscheme, ensuring that we reach the highest possible standards.

Each session is integrated with 70% of the children attending having a special need/disability. Sessions run from 9.30-12.00 in the morning and 12.30-3.00 in the afternoon. The majority of children attend for a full day, where they bring a packed lunch with them.  If anyone would like to access our Holiday Activities, whether you have a child with a special need/disability or not, (as it is integrated so we take children without special needs) or would like more information, please contact Kelly Bishop who will be delighted to answer any questions you may have.
