- Your employees will be able to get involved in fundraising activities
- You can also involve suppliers, customers and other stakeholders
- Fundraising will generate positive publicity opportunities for your business
How you can help
Here are just some of the ways in which your business could help our work with children with special needs and their families:
Why not sponsor an annual event or children's activity or holiday?
Adopt The Forest of Dean Children’s Opportunity Centre as your company's Charity of the Year and see how much money your employees, customers and suppliers can raise to help our work in your area.
Why not place one of our collection boxes in your office, canteen or shop?
Employee fundraising
Encourage your employees to organise events to raise money to help children with special needs. The possibilities are endless - golf days, race nights, dinner dances, ‘It’s a knockout’ competitions, fun runs, dress down Fridays, etc. These fun events improve employee morale and team working as well as raising money for a worthy cause. And they provide an opportunity to involve customers and suppliers.
Donations and In-kind giving
We are always grateful for donations of any amount, but donations need not be purely monetary. Many businesses donate their products, services or their employees’ time to help us. For example:
- HR
- Accountacy
- Employement Law
- H & S
- PR
- IT
- Reception
- Minibus maintenance and parts
